Marwan is an ICT executive and business veteran with over 27 years of hands on and operational experience. His experience spans across several countries/positions in the MENA region (Lebanon, Egypt, Yemen, Pakistan, etc) and his most recent role was Chairman & CEO of Alfa mobile in Lebanon. During his 10+ tenure at Alfa, he succeeded in transforming the company from a mere 2G infrastructure entity to a true service provider deserving the label of “Happiness Provider” by deploying state of the art technologies (3G, 4G & 5G) and introducing latest services such as Alfa Sports, a first in Lebanon and the region. Marwan nurtured a special “sports” friendly environment at Alfa where he encouraged and sponsored many initiatives (Basketball, Football, Ski, etc) through National Federations, Clubs and athletes. Marwan played an active role at the UN Global Compact Lebanon SDG Council as a Goal Leader of SDG #9, a Board member @ SAMENA, was among 30 other leaders to participate in the 2018 Executive Round Table organized by the UN in New York as part of the 2030 sustainable vision. He received several awards (Telecom Leader of the year 2016, 2012 & 2011, Social CEO Award 2019, Paul Harris Fellow, etc). In recognition of his human contributions, Pope Francis granted him the Order Of Saint Sylvester – Commander Grade. Marwan holds a MSC in Telecoms & Electrical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Mons – Belgium and attended several technical & executive trainings/seminars at INSEAD, HARVARD, MIT, IMD, HEC, etc.
With over 20 years of industry experience spanning leadership positions on the strategic and managerial fronts, Kamil’s most recent role was CEO MENA of Grey Group. Prior to joining Grey Group, Kamil was the Strategic Planning Director for Leo Burnett MENA, leading on several multinational and regional brands. He then became Managing Director, Levant for Leo Burnett, followed by Regional Managing Director of the Publicis Group of Companies in the Levant. Under his leadership, Leo Burnett Lebanon was transformed into a regional hub for creative excellence (globally ranked in the top 20 Most Creative Agencies in the World for 4 years culminating with the global rank of 4th Most Creative Agency in the World in 2015, according to the Big Won Report).
Throughout his career, Kamil worked on several sports assignments, of which the most recent were Aspire and FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, as well as being the communications lead for the Special Olympics Saudi team (games held in Abu Dhabi/Dubai in 2019).
He holds a BBA from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), an MBA (Finance and Marketing) from the University of Florida (USA), an MA in Economics from the University of Georgia (USA) and attended several technical executive course at MIT.
Rami began his career in sports and media at the Lebanese Basketball Fédération as Vice President and board member responsible for all media and marketing activities. He joined MP & SILVA in 2017 and moved on to Sports Partners International in 2019 as VP of Media and Partnerships.
In 2018, he led the media digitization for a telecom Operator by launching an in-house development and integration of a digital, multi-platform OTT offering for one of Lebanon’s largest mobile telecom operators.
His strong leadership and decision-making capabilities were key in propelling him to the top of his field across different geographies. Throughout his career, he engaged with top tier sports governing bodies on National, Regional, and Confederation levels and gained extensive experience in the West Asia region.
Throughout his years in the digital media industry, he gained technical and commercial experience, as well as the ability to create winning commercial strategies.
Rami is fluent in English, Arabic, and French. He is a graduate of the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut, with a degree in marketing and advertising.
Joseph has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and media on the operations and advisory fronts.
His recent role was “Director of the Corporate Strategy and PMO” at Alfa Telecommunications in Lebanon where he contributed to transform Alfa from a Mobile Operator to a Digital Service Provider.
Prior to joining Alfa, Joseph lead consulting engagements with Ericsson, PwC and Booz Allen Hamilton. He accumulated extensive experience in helping companies to digitize their offerings and operations. He engaged with mobile operators in Latin America, Western Europe and MENA on go-to-market and operational efficiency initiatives.
Joseph is fluent in English, Arabic, and French. He has a Master in Computer Engineering and an MBA degree.
